Cham Sculpture Art Museum in Da Nang is one of the few museums that fully preserve the Cham people's history - a nation that once dominated a vast area in southern Vietnam before its decline and the unification of Dai Viet. From about a few thousand years ago, the Cham people (also known as Champa) lived and ruled the land of Da Nang and Quang Nam. To this day, My Son Sanctuary in Quang Nam is considered the most extensive and complete relic of the Cham people that has been preserved.
