Valley of Love is one of the most romantic landscapes in Da Lat, approximately 5 km north of the city center. It is where the Da Thien Dam gathers small streams flowing from high hills, forming the Da Thien Lake winding around the valley shaded by green pine trees. In the 1930s, the Indochina authorities and French couples often chose this setting for romantic dates, naming it Vallée d'Amour. During the reign of King Bao Dai, this area was called Hoa Binh Valley. In 1953, Mr. Nguyen Vy - the Chairman of the Da Lat town council at that time - proposed renaming it Valley of Love.

Valley of Love is beautiful and enchanting with its deep valley and year-round green hills. In 1972, a water dam was built across the valley, creating the Da Thien Lake, adding to the overall charm of the scenery. Two additional names, Dam 3 and Da Thien Lake 3, appeared alongside Valley of Love.

Tuyen Lam Lake is situated 6km south of the city center of Da Lat, just below Truc Lam Zen Monastery, offering a refreshing climate, tranquil atmosphere, diverse and enchanting natural landscapes (forests, mountains, lakes, streams, waterfalls, etc.), along with numerous humanistic attractions. Tuyen Lam Lake covers an area of over 350 hectares, with some parts reaching depths of over 30 meters. The lake's water flows through a six-level spillway and irrigates the land at the foot of the Prenn Waterfall tourist area (Duc Trong district) during the dry season. On February 15, 2017, Tuyen Lam Lake was officially recognized as a National Scenic Area.

In the future, Tuyen Lam Lake Tourist Area aims to become a modern, luxurious ecological tourist destination while preserving its original environment. This idea has been approved by the People's Committee of Lam Dong province through the Decision on the approval of the adjustment of the planning of Tuyen Lam Lake Tourist Area until 2010 and the vision until 2020.
