The market management also oversees the Flower Garden of Chương Dương, parking lots, expanding the total area to over 47,614m², stretching from Gia Hoi Bridge to Truong Tien Bridge, with one side facing the Perfume River and the other facing the main street of Tran Hung Dao. The market hosts thousands of permanent and itinerant traders, attracting an average of 5,000 to 7,000 visitors daily. During festive seasons, the market gets even busier, with over 12,000 people flocking in.
Apart from being a prominent commercial hub in Hue with a history spanning over a century, Dong Ba Market is also known for its resilient revolutionary spirit during the anti-French and anti-American resistance wars.
