
2. Le-Nin Stream - Pac Bo historical site
Located in Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Pac Bo is a beautiful and unique tourist destination in Cao Bang for you to explore. This place was once the revolutionary base of Uncle Ho, so when you come here, you will understand more about the simple and rustic life of our beloved national leader, Ho Chi Minh.
Not only an important historical site in Cao Bang, but visiting the Pac Bo historical site, you can also admire the beautiful natural scenery with mountains, caves, and crystal-clear streams. Le-Nin Stream is picturesque, full of water, winding through countless rocky cliffs. There are sections of the stream with foamy white water, roaring loudly, and there are calm stretches like a velvet ribbon, softly whispering through the mountains and forests. Le-Nin Stream flows through Pac Bo historical site, past the rocks where Uncle Ho used to fish, the stone table where he translated party documents in the past. Passing through vast golden rice fields, peaceful villages, and colorful flower forests as beautiful as a painting, tourists can admire the scenery, explore the clear streams, along with the slopes and towering cliffs. The temperature in Cao Bang is usually lower than in the plains, so it is quite suitable for summer vacations here.

3. Tran Hung Dao Forest Historical Site
Tran Hung Dao Forest Historical Site is a special national historical site, located in Tam Kim commune, Nguyen Binh district, about 50 km southwest of Cao Bang town. This primeval forest retains its pristine beauty, with a cool climate all year round, averaging about 15 - 20 degrees Celsius annually. The natural scenery here is ideal for research programs and eco-tourism for both domestic and international tourists.
Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Historical Site preserves landmarks and artifacts associated with a particularly important historical period, with significant historical value for the Vietnamese revolution; associated with the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh and the life and career of General Vo Nguyen Giap. It witnessed the establishment of the army and the course of the first two battles at Phai Khat and Na Ngan forts.
Within the historical site are 34 graves of heroic martyrs and memorials to fallen soldiers who sacrificed for the homeland. Some tourist attractions in this area include the temple dedicated to General Vo Nguyen Giap, conquering Slam Cao mountain peak, Phai Khat and Na Ngan forts, and exhibition houses within the historical site. If you have more time, you can visit the nearby Phja Đén eco-tourism area or conquer Phja Oắc peak to enjoy the panoramic beauty of Cao Bang.
