Here's a fabulous skincare recipe, simple yet highly effective. You'll only need 15-20 minutes to achieve radiant, flawless skin!
Pennywort, a widely-used herb found in almost every kitchen, holds remarkable benefits for skincare. However, not everyone knows that besides being a nutritious vegetable, pennywort also works wonders in nourishing the skin. Anyone can use pennywort to enhance their skin's beauty, from teenagers battling acne to mothers combating signs of aging.
The simplest skincare formula with pennywort
Take a handful of pennywort, wash it thoroughly, crush it, then use a soft cotton ball soaked in the extract to gently wipe the face and neck area. Next, use your fingertips to gently pat the entire face for about 2-3 minutes to allow the pennywort extract to penetrate deeply into the skin. Leave it on for about 15 minutes then rinse off with clean water.
(*) If using this type of face mask, you can leave it on overnight without worrying about adverse effects. When applying pennywort extract to the skin, it absorbs quickly, leaving the face with a natural, thin layer. Upon waking up the next morning, simply rinse the face gently to feel noticeably softer and brighter skin.
Skincare formula for acne-prone skin (Pennywort + Sea Salt)
Mash pennywort with a pinch of sea salt to create a creamy mixture, then use this water to apply to the face. Sea salt helps firm the skin, reduce oiliness, especially in the T-zone area. Additionally, it has strong antibacterial properties, aiding in detoxifying the skin, preventing, and treating acne effectively.
Anti-aging skincare recipe (Pennywort + Honey)
Mix 1 tablespoon of pure honey with 1 tablespoon of pennywort extract. Honey moisturizes, fights aging, has antibacterial properties, reduces inflamed acne, leaving the skin bright, rosy, and smoother. Immediately after washing your face, you'll feel the firmness, smoothness, and freshness, a noticeable difference compared to before.
It's advisable to use a pennywort face mask before going to bed when the skin is rested and can absorb nutrients the most. Additionally, limit mask application to 2-3 times per week, for about 15-20 minutes each time. When using, avoid sensitive areas such as the eyes, eyebrows, and corners of the mouth.

If you don't have freshly cut pennywort at home, you can buy a bunch and store it in the refrigerator for gradual use.
