Set amidst the renowned Golden Isle, Immortals Fenyx Rising finds itself under the wrongful reign of the Titan Typhon. You see, Typhon has broken free from his eternal prison in Tartarus and seeks vengeance upon the gods who imprisoned him there. He accomplishes this by tearing down the barrier separating Tartarus from the earth. Enter Fenyx, a Greek warrior shipwrecked and washed ashore on the Golden Isle, bestowed with divine powers and weaponry by none other than Zeus himself.
The world is yours
Golden Isle is divided into various regions where you will explore and battle against the forces of Tartarus. For instance, in the Forgelands, you must restart the forge of the god Hephaestus to aid the gods. Forgelands stand out with a blend of grasslands and volcanic rocky areas. You can traverse around with your summoned horse, ascend to high areas, and leap down below. Additionally, you can utilize Daedalus' wings to glide through the air as long as your stamina doesn't run out.

The hammer of the gods
The combat style in Immortals Fenyx Rising draws heavily from Assassin's Creed. The right Bumper and Trigger execute standard attacks and finishing moves, while building up special abilities that can be activated with a combination of the left Bumper and A, B, X, or Y buttons. This allows you to unleash powerful or swift attacks with legendary weapons like Hephaestus' hammer or Atalanta's axe. These abilities recharge quickly, so you can use them frequently.
Encounter with Giant Foes
When experiencing Immortals Fenyx Rising, you'll face a plethora of giant foes with robust health and varied combat styles. You'll clash with hunting hounds, minotaurs, the snake-haired Gorgon goddess, and many other mythical creatures from legend, all existing for one sole purpose: to thwart Fenyx's quest.

Side missions, puzzles, challenges, and boss battles ensure you always have something to do if you want to take a break from the main quest.
