Aquadom in the capital city of Berlin, Germany, features a remarkably unique design, towering at a height of 25 meters and enveloped by an exterior cylindrical aquarium made of Acrylic glass.
Located within the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin, DomAquarée presents a tightly integrated complex, including a hotel, offices, a restaurant, and an aquarium resembling a global marine center.

The Aquadom elevator made its debut in 2004 with a construction cost of 12.8 million euros. The overall design and construction were supervised by the International Idea Management Federation. The cylindrical Acrylic glass structure was specially crafted by a technology company in the United States – Reynolds Polymer. This design serves as a captivating focal point for visitors to the Berlin World Ocean Center.

The exterior of the aquarium is constructed from four components, housing a functional elevator within. Aquadom holds the record as the world's largest cylindrical aquarium made of Acrylic glass, with a diameter of around 11 meters and a column base height of approximately 9 meters. The aquarium contains a massive 1,000 cubic meters of water, housing around 1,500 fish of 50 different species. Feeding and cleaning the tank are regularly performed by 3-4 divers, requiring 8kg of food per feeding session.
