Rach Mieu Bridge spans across National Highway 60 over the Tien River. It is the third large cable-stayed bridge built in the Mekong Delta (My Thuan Bridge designed and built by Australia, Can Tho Bridge designed and built by Japan), and Rach Mieu is the first bridge designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers using new technology. The bridge is 8,331 meters long, including the connecting roads at both ends. The two road sections have a total length of 5,463 meters, and the two main bridges stretch 2,868 meters, spanning over the Tien Giang River and Thoi Son Islet.
