Introducing a New 5-Cost Unit: Amumu
In this update of Teamfight Tactics 9.24, a new 5-cost unit joins the battlefield: Amumu. Amumu features the Inferno Trait and is part of the Shadow Origin. He utilizes his Curse of the Sad Mummy ability, stunning and dealing damage to surrounding units.
Details of Teamfight Tactics Patch 9.24 Update
1. New Champions and Origins
- New Trait: Soulbound: When the first Soulbound unit dies, they will transition into a soul state, becoming untargetable and fighting until the remaining Soulbound champion is defeated.
- New Champion Amumu:
+ Cost: 5 Gold
+ Origin: Inferno
+ Class: Guardian
+ Ability: Curse of the Sad Mummy, Amumu explodes in his wrath, dealing 150/250/1337 magic damage to all enemies surrounding him within 2/3/4 hexes and stunning them for 2 seconds.
2. Interface Updates
- Hovering over the EXP purchasing section will now accurately display the gold needed to level up.
- Your current XP points will now be visible.
- Random champion appearance rates will be shown corresponding to your level.
- The position of the EXP Purchase and Refund buttons has been swapped.
3. Tribe/Origin Adjustments
- Berserkers: (6) All berserker units gain +25 attack damage.
- Wind: Dodge chance increased from 15/20/30% to 20/25/35%.
- Electric: Damage increased from 70/250/500 to 100/300/500.
- Inferno: Additional damage over 5 seconds reduced from 80%/175%/250% to 70%/120%/180% over 4 seconds.
- Light: Attack speed increased from 10/20/35% to 15/25/35%.
- Ocean: Mana Regen reduced from 15/35/60 to 15/30/60.
- Rangers
+ (2) Attack speed increased from 30% to 35%.
+ (4) Attack speed increased from 65% to 80%.
+ (6) Attack speed multiplied by 2.5.
- Shadows
+ With the addition of Senna, activation requirement changed from 2/4 to 3/6.
+ (3) 70% damage increase.
+ (6) 140% damage increase and regeneration whenever a Shadow unit dies.
- Summoners: Time and health reduced from 40%/100% to 30%/120%.
4. Equipment Updates
- Phantom Dancer (Ghostly Blade) now blocks additional damage from critical strikes instead of dodging all attacks.
- Reduced the chance of items appearing in the Dragon tier.
- Reactivated a series of items to drop from Dragons/Rift Heralds. Now only Sparring Gloves, Negatron Cloak, and Giant Slayer will not drop.
- Giant Slayer Damage: 8% => 9%
