First introduced at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month, Samsung One UI 5.1 has now been officially released on Android 13 for Galaxy S22, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, S21, and S20 series. Android 13 brings significant enhancements, so users need to update to Android 13, the latest Android version, to access these new features. Additionally, updates for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will also be added in the coming weeks.

With the Samsung One UI 5.1 update, Samsung Galaxy apps are now easier to navigate and can recognize faces from images, enabling users to quickly create albums of their loved ones.
This update also integrates Samsung's Expert RAW app directly into the default camera of compatible devices, allowing photography enthusiasts quick access to Expert RAW mode and capturing uncompressed photos directly from the camera sensor. However, Samsung notes that this feature is only available on certain compatible phone models.
In addition, One UI 5.1 also supports Multi Control connectivity, similar to Apple's Universal Control feature. Multi Control enables users to share a keyboard, mousepad, or mouse between the Galaxy Book and Galaxy phone without needing a direct connection. To use this feature, users need to create a Samsung account, then log in to the account, and the connected devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network, with Bluetooth and Multi Control activated.
Moreover, the new Pin Widget on One UI 5.1 allows users to monitor the phone's battery life along with connected devices such as Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds, and S-Pen directly on the home screen.
The Weather Widget has also been redesigned to introduce hourly rainfall charts and visual illustrations of current weather conditions. The smart suggestion widget on One UI 5.1 will recommend songs and playlists on Spotify based on your recent activities.
