The Cuc Phuong National Park is situated in Ninh Binh province, more than 120 km from Hanoi, making it Vietnam's inaugural national park. Yok Don Forest is the largest national park in Vietnam, covering a total area of 115,545 hectares across Dak Nong and Dak Lak provinces. It is the only national park in Vietnam dedicated to preserving the ecosystem of deciduous forests. U Minh Forest: U Minh Forest is divided by the Trem River into U Minh Thuong (Kien Giang) and U Minh Ha (Ca Mau). Both are considered biosphere reserves and the green lungs of the Mekong Delta.
