When mentioning traveling in Malaysia, people immediately think of the capital Kuala Lumpur, Penang, or the Genting Highlands. Few know about another beautiful place, resembling a miniature England, called Cameron.
Cameron is located approximately 250km from the capital Kuala Lumpur, similar to the distance between Dalat and Ho Chi Minh City. The highlands are named after the British explorer William Cameron, who put this place on the world map in 1885.
There's a Malaysian Version of Dalat
If anyone has traveled to Dalat, they would surely agree with me that it's impossible to resist the mesmerizing beauty, the gentle morning air, or the chilly nights. The images of endless pine forests, lush green tea hills, serene lakes reflecting shimmering waves, or winding roads adorned with vibrant flower bushes always linger vividly, even when we haven't left.
Cameron is no different. Equally beautiful, equally charming, and filled with dreams. If you've fallen in love with Dalat, I highly recommend visiting Cameron once. Surely, you'll also devote a love as passionate as that for Dalat to this land.

Perched at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level, the Cameron Highlands enjoy a cool climate year-round, with average temperatures around 23 degrees Celsius during the day and 17 degrees Celsius at night. The terrain and climate here are not much different from Dalat in Vietnam.
When traveling abroad to Cameron, tourists will enjoy a captivating landscape feast. It's the steep slopes covered in vibrant green tea bushes, the picturesque dirt roads, adorned with hints of gold and pink from various flowers, blending with the azure sky to create a sparkling, lively painting.
Stopping by Cameron Valley's tea hills, then leisurely strolling into the valley, calling for a steaming cup of tea to savor amidst the lingering smoke, you'll feel an unusual serenity.

Not much different from a miniature England!
If we compare the entire England to the tiny Cameron Highlands, it may seem somewhat hesitant but it's not entirely unjustified. Because if you look at the big picture, Cameron greatly resembles a peaceful countryside village in distant England.
Previously, Malaysia was a British colony, so it has been strongly influenced by British architecture. Cameron is no exception. The houses here are built and decorated in a very Western style, amidst the lush green tea hills, making them even more magnificent and impressive.

Embarking on a budget-friendly trip to Cameron, travelers can stop by 3 major towns: Ringlet, Tanah Rata, and Brinchang. Here, visitors can take a leisurely stroll to visit tea production factories. Besides learning about the traditional tea-making process, tourists can also purchase various delicious teas such as black tea, herbal tea, peach tea, or lemon tea.
At noon, you can also sit back and enjoy mint tea, milk tea along with fragrant baked goods. This is the traditional English culture still preserved in the Cameron Highlands.
Afternoon is the ideal time to visit the butterfly garden and lavender garden - these are all interesting destinations, surely providing travelers with the most relaxing moments.
