






The majority of the locals gather on the rooftops, while below, the courtyard is often home to livestock such as pigs, chickens, and cows... Every two or three houses share a stone staircase, piled with dry wood on either side of the path. The narrow dirt roads and winding paths around the hill make visitors feel like they're wandering through a maze.


According to records, the Di people were the first ethnic group to appear in this ancient village. However, some cultures and customs follow the Han people, such as pasting couplets on either side of the main door and hanging red lanterns. The locals here are friendly and don't mind when strangers come to visit.
