Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi – Kuala Lumpur – Ipoh (Perak)
9 AM: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur
11 AM: Touch down at Kuala Lumpur airport. Complete immigration procedures. Note: Ensure you queue in the designated lane. Incorrect queuing may result in being asked to leave the line by customs officers, requiring you to queue again from the beginning. Based on the recent experience of a traveler in early June, the immigration queue took over 30 minutes.
12:30 PM: Purchase train tickets to Ipoh (Perak). Ticket price approximately 30 RM (170,000 VND. 1 RM = 5,600 VND). Travel time: 2 hours.
3 PM: Arrive at Ipoh railway station.
3:30 PM: Check-in at the hotel.
4 PM: Explore downtown Ipoh, dine, and shop for local specialties.
Day 2: The Heritage Trail (Tour Exploring Ipoh's Heritage Sites)

The Heritage Trail, referred to by travel companies in Ipoh as a tour exploring the city's heritage, spans approximately 12 km and includes the following landmarks:
9 AM: Ipoh Station. Designed in the style of the Taj Mahal, Ipoh Railway Station was opened in 1917, designed by Arthur Benison Hubback. If arriving in Ipoh by train, you'll make a stop at this station.
11 AM: Ipoh Tree. The Ipoh Tree is the name given to a small park in front of Ipoh Station. Within the park, you'll find a water plaza and characteristic Ipoh trees.
11:30 AM: City Hall. Located opposite Ipoh Station, Ipoh City Hall boasts classical French architecture, exuding solemnity and elegance.
12 PM: Birch Ipoh Memorial Tower. Built in 1909 to commemorate JWW Birch, the first British Resident of Perak, the tower's four sides depict illustrations of cultural evolution.
1 PM: Kong Heng Alley, an ancient street in Ipoh. The highlight of this street is its ancient Chinese architectural buildings. Here, you can purchase or indulge in local specialties.
2 PM: Lunch at Kong Heng Alley.

3 PM: Explore modern art through mural paintings. The Old Town art project by artist Ernest Zacharevic, starting in 2014, has depicted Ipoh's history on walls through paintings and 3D sculptures.
4 PM: Ipoh High Court. The Ipoh High Court, inaugurated in 1928, is designed in 19th-century French architecture. It currently serves as one of the high-level legal centers in Perak state.

Day 3: Exploring the Lost World of Tambun
9 AM: Entrance fee is 50 RM. The Lost World of Tambun is a tourist complex with restaurants, bars, children's play areas, thrill rides, water rides, a zoo, lake, and hot springs.
You can divide your time here as follows:
9 AM - 12 PM: Explore thrill rides, go kayaking on the lake.
12 PM: Lunch.
1 PM - 4 PM: Visit the zoo, enjoy the water park, boil eggs in the hot spring pool, and soak in the hot springs.
5 PM: Indulge in delicious delicacies available here such as tofu, curry, cakes, and white coffee.

Day 4: Kellie’s Castle Haunted Castle

8 AM: Visit the fun house or also known as the 3D museum of Ipoh. The building has 2 floors. Each floor is divided into many small areas depicting various 3D images such as fairy tale corner, horror corner, space corner, and inverted object corner.
9 AM: Explore Kellie’s Castle.
Kellie’s Castle is the oldest ancient castle in Malaysia, built by Mr. Kellie William Smith (a Scottish man) to present to his wife, Mrs. Agnes, before they moved to Malaysia to settle in 1903. However, his death along with a flu epidemic led to the loss of 70 laborers, halting construction halfway. Currently, this is a destination attracting adventurous travelers. Entrance fee is 4 RM per person.
12 PM: Check out from the hotel.
12:30 PM: Take the train from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur airport. Travel time is about 2 hours. Ticket price is 30 RM.
2:30 PM: Arrive at the airport for departure procedures.
3 PM: Board the train from airport 2 to airport 1.
3:10 PM: Arrive at the airport, shop at the airport.
5 PM: Depart from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi.
