Samsung service is a product of Samsung, a feature popular worldwide but still relatively new in Vietnam, leaving users curious. Below, Mytour will introduce what Samsung is, how to use Samsung Pay.
Setting Up Samsung Pay
1. Discovering Samsung Pay
Similar to Apple Pay and Android Pay, Samsung Pay is an exclusive direct payment service created by Samsung for its own smart electronic devices, operating on contactless card readers.
Previously, Samsung only deployed the Samsung Pay service for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5 series. However, with the increasing demand for online payments, Samsung has expanded the scope of Samsung Pay's operations. Instead of being limited to just two models as before, Samsung Pay is now integrated with other newer Samsung models such as Galaxy Note 8, S8/S8, A5, A7, and more.
2. Samsung Pay and its Security Measures
Samsung Pay is widely used in many stores, making it easy to operate on contactless card readers and NFC-enabled devices. With its feature catering to a large number of stores, Samsung has integrated Tokenization technology, ensuring excellent security on devices. Tokenization technology encrypts all user information, ensuring that no information is disclosed. Additionally, each credit card information will have its own token number consisting of 16 characters. Furthermore, this token number includes an encryption cryptogram provided with each use of the Samsung Pay service. Therefore, using Samsung Pay ensures absolute safety for your information.
