From Hanoi, take the route towards Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, until you reach Ha Giang. Accommodation prices in Ha Giang are quite reasonable, ranging from 100,000 to 180,000 VND for a clean and well-equipped room. Don't miss the opportunity to taste the specialty of Ha Giang, the unique rolled cake served with eggs and accompanied by a bowl of savory broth, unlike in other regions, this rolled cake is mixed with eggs and served with a bowl of rich broth, offering a unique and enticing flavor.

Ha Giang nightlife may not offer many entertainment options, but sitting down with a cup of coffee amidst the cold highland weather might unexpectedly provide an enjoyable experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of this region.
The first stop on your journey is the Quan Ba Heaven's Gate, where there used to be a wooden gate made from Nghiến wood in 1939. This is also the first gateway to the Dong Van Rocky Plateau.

And from here, the beautiful scenery continues to unfold, sometimes leaving you only able to capture it with fleeting glances.

True to its name, everywhere you go here is rocky. The local ethnic people fill crevices with soil to cultivate corn, vegetables, improving their livelihoods.
Unveiling the Splendor of Dong Van Ancient Town on the Way to Lung Cu

Leaving the Vuong family home, about 1km back down the road, you'll encounter the turn towards Lung Cu, the northernmost point of the country. The path is winding and treacherous, with continuous curves, but the captivating scenery is so mesmerizing that you need to stay alert to reach your destination safely.
To reach the base of the flagpole, you'll need to climb over 389 steps. Along the way, you'll come across a prehistoric beetle fossil, leaving you wondering how it was discovered given its small size, barely the size of a 5,000 VND coin.

The first feeling upon standing beneath the flagpole at Lung Cu is a mixture of emotion and pride, knowing that you've set foot in this place, the northernmost point of the country, where all the weariness of the long journey suddenly dissipates.
It would be a great omission to miss out on the most perilous and stunning pass in the Northwest, the Ma Pi Leng Pass, where the Happiness Road runs through. At the summit of the pass stands a monument commemorating the sacrifices of the 16 ethnic groups in the northern mountainous region, highlighting their noble efforts to build the Happiness Road, aiming to bring the border highlands on par with the lowlands.
