1. The Nothingness
The Nothingness stands out as an extraordinary card, making its appearance solely in movie 2: Sakura and the sealed cards. It doesn't belong to any elemental card group, yet it's considered one of the most potent. The Nothingness symbolizes emptiness, void, and negativity.
The remaining 52 cards, when used for their intended purpose, bring wonders and positivity to humanity. However, The Nothingness, the 53rd card, defies the influence of any elemental card. True to its name, anything or anyone in contact with it ceases to exist, returning to emptiness.
Clow Reed created The Nothingness to counterbalance the positivity of the other 52 cards. It harnesses the power of the moon, the sun, darkness, and even magic from both the East and the West. The Nothingness appears as a black, hollow spherical void with a young girl in the center—long silver curls and a lifeless, empty face. Despite hating emptiness and loneliness, The Nothingness wants others to endure loneliness like itself, hence its decision to steal other Sakura cards.
Thanks to Sakura's kindness, The Nothingness's empty heart transforms successfully, holding a winged heart represented by The Nameless card, uniting to form a new card: The Hope.

2. The Inferno
The Blazing is also one of the four main elemental cards in the Clow Card deck, harnessing the power of fire for its attacks. The Blazing carries the energetic force of the sun, making it more potent than both The Windy and The Watery. Sakura had to simultaneously use these two cards to successfully capture this playful and rebellious youth.
The Blazing appears as a teenage male deity with bright orange wings and mischievous long elf-like ears. With an untameable and somewhat stubborn nature, The Blazing enjoys teasing others, especially Sakura, as she tries to capture it. Cerberus (Kero) warns that when using The Blazing, Sakura needs to be exceptionally attentive and cautious, as arbitrary use of this card could lead to trouble and danger for everyone around.
Despite its rebellious demeanor, once captured by Sakura, The Blazing shows respect and obeys its rightful owner. The innate strength and obstinacy of The Blazing prove extremely useful to Sakura in her journey to capture the remaining cards and combat the dark forces plaguing the town of Tomoeda.

3. The Earthen
The Earthen is hailed as the most formidable card in the elemental deck, harnessing the power of the earth - affectionately referred to as the 'Mother Nature.' The Earthen falls under the dominion of the Sun, giving it a hint of fierceness akin to The Blazing.
The Earthen takes the form of an elegant and towering woman, dressed in a flowing gown with pleated sleeves and a skirt seemingly made of stone material. Despite its seemingly violent demeanor, The Earthen is considered quite gentle compared to its much more aggressive counterpart - The Blazing.
Earthen has the autonomy to control and manipulate the earth element and its various aspects such as soil and rocks. The dreadfulness of The Earthen primarily stems from its ability to wreak havoc by creating earthquakes, cracks, landslides, and a myriad of disasters for humanity to fathom. To capture The Earthen, Sakura utilized multiple cards, with the pivotal card to subdue Mother Nature being The Wood - also one of the most potent cards in the deck.

4. The Breezy
The Breezy perhaps stands out the most in the early episodes as it was the first card Sakura utilized to capture others when the Clow Book accidentally opened, and the cards scattered. The Breezy employs the power of the wind to unleash its attacks.
The Breezy takes on the appearance of a beautiful girl with long hair tied up, cascading into two long strands, along with angelic wings adorning her back. The Breezy exudes a gentle and kind nature, originally intended for non-combat purposes, simply to retrieve the other cards back into the Clow Book. Despite being one of the four elemental cards, The Breezy often gets underrated by CardCaptor Sakura fans.
Although possessing a seemingly fragile exterior and somewhat underestimated power, one cannot deny that The Breezy remains one of Sakura's strongest cards. Moreover, The Breezy always obeys its master's commands, often employing clever methods to capture other cards without causing too much harm to the opponents. Hence, it's one of Sakura's most trusted cards.

5. The Aquatic
The Aquatic is also one of the elemental cards, and its power needs no further discussion. However, Watery is esteemed far higher than Windy in terms of strength due to its exceptionally robust nature. Watery is a magical card with the ability to control and manipulate water, using it to assail opponents, harnessing the power under the moonlight - Yue.
Originally, Watery takes the form of powerful water vortexes. However, when transforming into a humanoid shape, Watery appears as a charming teenage girl with determined eyes exuding formidable combat skills. Before Sakura successfully subdued it, Watery was fierce and intended to attack humans even when they posed no threat. Sakura and her friends were nearly drowned by Watery's aggression.
The Aquatic, before Sakura's capture, was a dangerous card capable of harm, but after becoming Sakura's ally, it became an invaluable asset in protecting the peace of Tomoeda town. It aided Sakura in the journey to reclaim all the lost cards.

6. Enchanted Forest
Enchanted Forest emerges as a captivating card with the ability to command nature, positioned under the influence of The Watery and harnessing the power of the moon. It's also one of the 19 original cards of CardCaptor Sakura.
Enchanted Forest makes a striking impression with the image of a young woman adorned with flowing hair and the iconic leaf symbol on her forehead. Most of her body is covered by foliage, enhancing Enchanted Forest's dreamy and enchanting appearance.
Despite initially appearing petite and gentle, Enchanted Forest, when unleashing her power, sees her tree branches stretch and expand extensively. Both in appearance and somewhat in character, Windy and Enchanted Forest share similarities. Enchanted Forest is a card that willingly follows commands and willingly submits to Sakura. However, when provoked or angered, Enchanted Forest may reveal a somewhat fiery side.
Enchanted Forest has the ability to control and create various types of vines, thickets, and sprawling branches to set traps as commanded by its master. According to the elemental order in Chinese culture, Enchanted Forest's strength is believed to be capable of overcoming The Earthy, but given its gentle nature, Enchanted Forest may show some leniency towards The Earthy.

7. Veil of Illusion
Veil of Illusion is a branch card stemming from The Watery, making it one of the most formidable cards in the deck, and that's no surprise. If you've ever watched the anime series Demon Slayer (or Kimetsu no Yaiba), you can envision that Veil of Illusion's power is akin to the astonishing strength of Muichirou Tokito's Mist Hashira.
Veil of Illusion initially appears as a young girl with long hair and pointed elf-like ears. CLAMP seems to favor this formula, as it is used to craft the majority of the cards, all sharing the common trait of beautiful appearances.
Veil of Illusion employs its magic to manipulate a misty veil. When the target location is covered by this mist, opponents can no longer see to unleash their attacks. Additionally, Veil of Illusion's power is exponentially enhanced as it can corrode almost any material in its surroundings, including metal and stone.
Veil of Illusion makes its first appearance in episode 14 of the anime, during a high school play at Seijou - Touya's (Sakura's older brother) school. The Mist corroded the stage props, and to counter Veil of Illusion, Sakura had to utilize The Shadow card to encircle it.

8. Radiant Luminescence
Luminary Radiance is the twin sibling of The Dark and one of the pivotal cards in The Clow deck. With an elegant appearance, Light boasts long, white curly hair crowned with a regal tiara.
Similar to The Dark, Light possesses a gentle and amiable nature. She places more trust in Sakura than her elder sister, wholeheartedly supporting Sakura on her journey to become a card wielder without a shred of doubt.
The Light's primary magic lies in the ability to create and control light. Manipulating everything around her, she can produce a powerful beam of light, banishing darkness and bringing daylight wherever it touches. Light resides within Sakura's heart, illuminating it. This is why, even when The Dark casts everything into shadows, Sakura can still see herself—the Light has always been within her heart, casting its glow.
Luminary Radiance is the first card under the guidance of Cerberus (Kero) and harnesses the power of the sun. It's one of the rare cards capable of communication, guiding Sakura to the key of capturing both The Dark and The Light.

9. Shadow Sovereign
Darkness always holds immense power, and in the realm of CardCaptor Sakura, that truth remains unchanged. The card Shadow Sovereign stands as one of the most potent cards in the entire deck. Alongside its twin sister - The Light, The Dark is also one of the most crucial cards in Clow's arsenal.
Dark carries an elegant and sophisticated appearance, with long straight black hair crowned by a spikey tiara resembling a queen of authority. The Dark exhibits a gentle demeanor, believing Sakura possesses the qualities to become a true card wielder, though not without some skepticism.
The Dark shares a close bond with its twin, The Light. Any sealings or transformations related to the cards require the presence of both The Dark and The Light. The Dark's primary magic is the ability to warp space, creating dark voids that can isolate and nullify non-magical entities given sufficient time. Additionally, The Dark can manipulate everything around it, submerging all into a silent, tranquil darkness.
Shadow Sovereign can communicate like a human - a rarity among Clow cards. It has communicated with Sakura, revealing the method for dispelling the seal and successfully capturing the card. The Dark is also one of the 19 original cards in the Clow deck.

10. Vigorous Might
The sheer potency of Vigorous Might is evident right in its name - Power. Aligned under The Firey, Power shares certain physical traits and characteristics with The Firey. This card can bestow upon its wielder extraordinary physical strength.
Vigorous Might takes the form of an adorable pink fairy, and you wouldn't imagine the incredible strength it possesses just by looking at its outward appearance. The Power's personality is somewhat mischievous, enjoying physical challenges. When released from the Clow Book, it can turn invisible and create chaos unseen. Only when someone presents The Power with a physical challenge does it emerge from its invisible state. Moreover, The Power willingly surrenders if defeated in a physical contest.
Vigorous Might primarily embodies immense physical strength, and the fairy can transfer this strength to its wielder. To capture The Power, Sakura had to challenge it to a tug-of-war competition, relying on the secret assistance of both Li Syaoran and The Time card to secure victory and successfully seal The Power.
