Cafes that soothe the soul
Quyen's Charm
Quyen's. is a cafe on wheels that has gained quite a bit of attention lately through trending Instagram reels. Personally, Q. brews delicious coffee, emitting a positive energy that makes everyone feel comfortable. This coffee truck is an interesting expression of youth, of things unique to Da Lat. The price for a cup of coffee ranges from 12,000 to 15,000 VND. Quyen's. starts selling from 6 a.m. until around 8-9 a.m. in the Tra Hill area on Tran Nhan Tong Street.

MP Audiophile: My Beloved Cafe
MP Audiophile is my favorite coffee shop, only open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This space is truly reserved for those who love to enjoy music in silence. The cafe has been open for quite some time, so it still retains the unmistakable vibe of a Da Lat cafe, even the menu remains as it was when I used to go to cafes with my parents: hot cocoa or ice cream with cinnamon rolls, very charming. Sitting here on a chilly winter evening, you will feel the romance, tenderness, and love of this city.

Morning Coffee in Hoa Binh Area
Lately, there has been a surge in tourist traffic due to the convenience of getting off at the nearby Ben Thanh Buoi bus stop. You can sit at any of these roadside stalls, with coffee prices ranging from 12,000 to 15,000 VND per traditional filter coffee. On misty mornings with beautiful sunlight, sitting here is delightful, romantic, and enjoyable. Nearby, there's a small cart run by an elderly lady (near Saigon glasses) offering delicious sticky rice for 10,000 -15,000 VND. It's an experience worth trying early in the morning in Da Lat.

Unique experiences are abundant in Da Lat
Indulge in art at DAT Art Space
Address: 3/5 A Yersin, Ward 10, Da Lat, Lam DongBeverage prices are around 35k per cup, free entryDAT is an old Da Lat house with original tiled floors, moss-covered walls, and a laden rose tree. Inside this space is an exhibition of paintings by some Vietnamese artists that changes regularly, and a small corner for pottery enthusiasts. DAT is simple, rustic, and lacks the gleaming cleanliness of art centers in big cities; it's perhaps a way to experience art Da Lat-style: leisurely and soulfully. Besides the paintings, what struck me most was the window with the ripe rose tree, beautiful like a dream. You can sit in the small garden to enjoy coffee after exploring DAT's exhibitions.

Exploring Local Wine Cellars: Chateau Dalat - Lado Winery
It's been a while since I visited Cau Dat, and I've discovered that this area has more and more interesting places for tourism, especially Lado's winemaking area, which surprised me because it's doing much better than I thought. Over the past 2 years, I've seen significant changes in Dalat wine, from packaging to quality. People are making great efforts to create even better products.

Wine Tasting Space
I checked out Lado's website and found they've invested extensively in providing information about Dalat wine in both English and Japanese. So I decided to give it a try! When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the staff and the well-designed layout of the tour area. It's truly a blend of pride and surprise to see Dalat have such a quality place to showcase its 'products' like this. I think this place is also very suitable for going with parents, family, or introducing to international tourists...

Unique cocktails at Mizu Bar
On a 15-degree Celsius evening in Dalat, I opened the small gate according to the bar's secret code and stepped into the 'secret' entrance. Before me was a noren curtain, a wooden shelf full of Maneki neko, and most impressively, a hot towel placed on a ceramic plate for hand wiping in Japanese style. I'd heard of MIZU BAR before, mostly in passing, but never intended to visit. My friends had similar feelings when they heard that the bar required a 'passcode' for entry. This gave me the impression that the bar was somewhat 'exclusive,' or perhaps relied on a sense of 'destiny' to bring customers in. But upon arrival, I understood why the bar operated this way. - Mizu Bar is small, but in my opinion, it has the quality of a premium hidden bar. First and foremost, the owner has invested quite a bit in imported liquor, including some expensive whiskies, and the owner is also adept at notifying customers of the price per shot/bottle in advance.

Cocktails with the flavors of Dalat
The bar doesn't have a menu, so you just need to come and request any classic drink based on your mood or preference. The two bartenders are impeccably dressed and polite, even the coaster shows how meticulous they are in taking care of their small establishment. The drink I tried, following their suggestion, was the Dalat Aroma, with many layers of different fragrances. It was quite an interesting journey from taste to smell, experiencing the unique flavors and scents of Dalat. This drink was slowly absorbed and deeply rich. The price for one drink here is around 200,000 VND, quite high compared to the general level in Dalat, but worth it for the experience. You can find Mizu Bar on Facebook for location information and reservations!

An ideal place to enjoy Dalat at late night
I believe that each destination or experience mentioned above can bring you fresher and more wholesome feelings about Dalat. Through these places, I truly hope to send you a message that 'You've worked hard this past year, so take a leisurely break!' and wish you a fantastic new year!
