You can follow Google Maps, covering a distance of 260km with over 5 hours of travel time. The toll and road expenses for car travel amount to around 170,000 VND.
If traveling by bus to Vinh City, the cost is around 200,000 VND. You can ask to stop at Yen Ly Junction. Then, you can take a taxi for over 15 km to reach the Mường Thanh Diễn Lâm Ecological Area.

By car, it takes nearly 1.5 hours for 67 km. If traveling by bus or coach, the cost is around 20,000 VND for one-way journey plus taxi fare for nearly 6 km from QL48A road to the Mường Thanh Diễn Lâm Ecological Area.

The entrance to Mường Thanh Diễn Lâm Ecological Area left a strong impression on me with two rows of straight trees, embraced by lush green rice fields. The natural atmosphere felt distinct from the hustle and bustle of the nearby National Highway 48A that I had just traversed.

After traveling about 5km, my family and I arrived at the ecological area. We proceeded into the compound and reached the lobby to check-in and receive our hotel rooms.
Prices and Services
Option one is to purchase tickets for sightseeing and recreational services, then return on the same day. Opening hours are from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The second option is suitable for groups of friends or large families. The price for a two-bedroom, five-star villa with a living room overlooking the serene lake is approximately 2,500,000 - 3,500,000 VND depending on the time.
The third option is suitable for small families like mine. A 5-star hotel room with a pool and breakfast ranges from 1,100,000 to 2,000,000 VND depending on the room type and timing.

Entering the lobby, I felt quite comfortable. The surroundings were natural with birds chirping and fresh air. The staff worked efficiently, offering luggage transportation services, and I felt quite satisfied.

Inside the hotel, there is a restaurant with reasonable prices and a diverse menu. Additionally, you can enjoy cuisine at the bamboo restaurant, outdoor barbecue, or street food area…

After having a satisfying meal at the restaurant inside the hotel, my team and I headed to the night market area to continue our adventure. Unfortunately, our plans were completely ruined by unexpected rainfall.

At night, besides dining, inside the Mường Thanh Diễn Lâm Ecological Area, there are karaoke rooms, a golf course, spots for taking trendy photos, bike rental services for enjoying nature, or electric vehicle rentals.
-Safari Land Zoo: Adults 70,000 VND, children 50,000 VND (open from 7 am to 5 pm in winter and from 6 am to 6 pm in summer)
-Amusement Park: combo for adults 70,000 VND, combo for children 50,000 VND, individual game tickets are 20,000 VND each for adults and 15,000 VND each for children.
-Electric Vehicle Ride: 100,000 VND per ride or 150,000 VND for about 7 adults and 3 children
-Bicycle rental: 50,000 VND for 30 minutes.
-Swan paddle boat: 50,000 VND for 30 minutes.
-8-person canoe rental: 1,000,000 VND for 30 minutes.
-Fishing: 50,000 VND for 30 minutes.
-Group mineral mud bath: 250,000 VND per ticket for a tub accommodating 2-3 people, 200,000 VND per ticket for a tub accommodating 4 - 6 people, 180,000 VND per ticket for a tub accommodating 7-10 people, and for children, the ticket price is 100,000 VND per child.
-Mineral pool with waterfall overflow: 120,000 VND for one adult ticket, and for children, the ticket price is 60,000 VND per child.
-Tennis court rental: 150,000 VND per hour (applicable from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and 200,000 VND per hour (applicable from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
-Football field rental: 200,000 VND per hour (applicable from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and 250,000 VND per hour (applicable from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
-Badminton: 150,000 VND per hour (applicable from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 100,000 VND per hour (applicable from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
-Wedding photoshoot: outdoor shoot 500,000 VND unlimited time, in Executive Suite room 500,000 VND per hour, in Presidential Suite room 1,000,000 VND per hour.

Despite the persistent rain, the adventurous trio in the family remained undeterred from exploring their home. They decided to embark on an electric car rental adventure priced at 150,000 VND for 7-8 adults at the safari park. Opting for the electric car seemed wise given the expansive nature of the safari, sparing them from the exhaustion of walking.
Stepping into the Safari Zone, visitors are greeted by a magnificent flock of Pink Flamingos. I quickly whipped out my camera to capture a captivating moment of the affectionate flamingo couple.

Finally, we ventured into the carnivore habitat area. The first creatures we encountered were the horse bears, munching on pumpkins, looking quite plump.

Encountering wild animals in Muong Thanh Dien Lam eco-tourism area left my child in awe.
What I've gained from this trip is the firsthand experience for my child, immersing in the wilderness, far more captivating than any book or TV show. Due to unfavorable weather, my family and I only managed to visit the safari land before heading back. I'll definitely return to fully explore all the services at Muong Thanh Dien Lam eco-tourism area next time.
