There are two routes from Hanoi to Tây Thiên for private transportation:
1. From Thang Long Bridge, at the Nam Hong intersection, turn left onto the Mê Linh – Phúc Yên – Vĩnh Yên route.
2. From the Nội Bài airport intersection, turn left towards Phúc Yên – Vĩnh Yên. From the city of Vĩnh Yên, continue for approximately 20km following signs to Tam Đảo until you reach your destination.
Alternatively, you can opt for public transportation such as buses or coaches traveling to Tam Đảo, with stops at Tây Thiên.

Trúc Lâm Tây Thiên Zen Monastery
Trúc Lâm Tây Thiên Zen Monastery is located about 2km from the Tây Thiên scenic area. It's recommended to take a 20k shuttle bus from the parking lot to the monastery as the road is quite narrow, accommodating vehicles with 7 to 9 seats. Along with Trúc Lâm Yên Tử Zen Monastery and Trúc Lâm Đà Lạt Zen Monastery, this is one of the three largest Zen monasteries in Vietnam, where numerous retreats are organized for youth, monks, and nuns.
Tam Đảo Tourist Area
