Transportation
Getting to Tràm Lake from Ho Chi Minh City is very convenient. Besides motorcycles, there are frequent bus services from Mien Dong Bus Station to Vung Tau City throughout the day. Bus tickets cost around 100,000 VND per person, with a new bus departing every half an hour. There's also a high-speed hydrofoil service with tickets priced at 200,000 VND per person, taking approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the destination. From Vung Tau, you can then catch a connecting bus to Tràm Lake.

Lưới Market is a place where locally caught seafood is sold, so despite its small size, it offers a wide variety of fresh and affordable seafood, including shrimp, fish, crab, squid, etc. The market is most bustling from 6-7am and 4-5pm. You can bring a portable gas stove and enjoy grilling or boiling your seafood by the beach, which is truly fantastic.
If you visit on weekends, it's advisable to book your accommodation in advance to avoid the hassle of searching for a room.
From Vung Tau, there are overnight boats to Con Dao, taking one night each way.
