Displace's revolutionary concept of a completely wireless TV is set to make its grand entrance at the upcoming CES 2023 tech expo in just a few weeks. Beyond the standard specs like a 55-inch screen size and support for 4K OLED image quality, the 'true wireless' idea behind this TV is the most impressive.According to Displace, their product (named Displace TV) will be the 'world's first entirely wireless TV.' Displace states that users can seamlessly 'combine' four TVs into a 110-inch screen with 16K image quality, enough to cover the wall of a living room or bedroom. Each 55-inch panel also weighs approximately 9kg.
Displace TV will use rechargeable batteries instead of direct power connection (due to its wireless nature) with a battery life of approximately one month (based on an average of 6 hours of daily viewing). It also supports charging while watching through a wirelessly connected charging dock. The dock, of course, still needs to be plugged in, but Displace assures it can be easily concealed behind.Displace TV will also forgo a traditional remote and will be entirely controlled through gestures, voice-activated virtual assistants, or the TV's touch screen. The front of the TV is equipped with a 4K camera and supports WiFi 6E technology.Displace TV is expected to make its debut at the CES 2023 tech expo (on January 5, 2023) and is set to ship from late 2023. The product currently has no pricing information available.Source whathifi
