Although both are summer diapers, the Elprairie Air Thin and Elprairie Air Wing diapers are not entirely alike. Each product is suitable for different purposes, catering to the varying needs of parents for their children.
2.1. Elprairie Air Wing Diapers Suitable for Day and Night Use
The Elprairie Air Wing line was the first introduced by Elprairie in Vietnam. It currently comes in two design options: taped diapers and pull-up pants, as follows:
Taped Elprairie Air Wing diapers are available in the following sizes:
- Size S: 1 pack of 34 pieces, suitable for newborns up to 6.5kg
- Size M: 1 pack of 30 pieces, for babies weighing around 6 – 11kg
- Size L: 1 pack of 26 pieces, suitable for babies weighing 10 – 14kg
- Size XL: 1 pack of 22 pieces, for babies weighing over 13kg
The average selling price ranges from 150,000 to 185,000 VND per pack.
- Size L 1 pack 44 pieces: for babies weighing 9-14kg
- Size XL 1 pack 42 pieces: for babies weighing 12 – 17kg
- Size XXL 1 pack 40 pieces: for babies weighing from 15-25kg
Reference selling price of Elprairie Air Wing diaper pants is around 380,000đ/pack. Currently, the Elprairie Air Wing adhesive diaper line is out of stock in many shops, the most popular model being diaper pants.
About the structure, Elprairie Air Wing diapers have the following characteristics:
- Thickness is only about 2.08mm, designed with over 100,000 breathable holes with absorption speed of only 7s/ 1 pee (about 100ml).
- Diaper's capacity is up to 1,144ml
- Structure with 2 wings on the sides using Air Wing technology, optimally preventing leaks, effectively preventing liquid from leaking and sticking to the baby's thighs and legs. (Each wing is 2cm wide, supporting an increase of up to 66% in absorption surface area).
- Diapers have horizontal elastic bands to snugly fit the baby's buttocks in a Q shape (also known as Q-fit), supporting firm shaping, preventing displacement whether the baby is lying down, sitting, standing, or jumping.
- Dual Guide groove design ensures even liquid spread and deep absorption into the cotton core without diaper sagging or clumping.
- Diapers have wetness indicator lines for parents to easily check their baby's diaper status.
With the structure and sizes above, Elprairie Air Wing diapers are often used by mothers a lot in summer, for both day and night use.
2.2. Elprairie Air Thin diapers are suitable for daytime use
Elprairie Air Thin diapers were introduced later in 2021 in Vietnam, also having 2 main groups including: adhesive diapers and diaper pants, with similar pant sizes and packaging specifications to the Elprairie Air Wing diaper line. However, with the Elprairie Air Thin adhesive diaper version, the diaper design only has sizes S, M, L suitable for newborns up to 14kg, without XL size.
Regarding Elprairie Air Thin diaper pants, the sizes and packaging specifications are similar to the Elprairie Air Wing diaper pants line. In terms of selling price, Elprairie Air Thin adhesive diapers have a price range of about 216,000đ/pack, while Elprairie Air Thin diaper pants are around 275,000đ/pack.
About the structural characteristics, Elprairie Air Thin diapers all have all the advantages that Elprairie Air Wing diapers possess. The difference is that Elprairie Air Thin diapers are thinner with only 1.58mm thickness and lighter at only 30g, so the capacity is also less, about 1,014ml. However, the advantage is high breathability compared to the Elprairie Air Wing diapers and helps the baby's skin cooler by about 5 degrees Celsius compared to other common diaper lines on the market.
With a relatively thin design, Elprairie Air Thin diapers are usually only suitable for daytime use in summer, not suitable for nighttime use, especially for babies who pee a lot.
In general, Elprairie Air Thin diapers and Elprairie Air Wing diapers in terms of technology do not have much difference, both are suitable paper diaper lines for summer. But with a thinner structure, Elprairie Air Thin diapers are only suitable for daytime use, while Elprairie Air Wing diapers are quite suitable for both day and night.
