The Redmi Note 10 5G boasts a noticeable difference in size. While the standard Redmi Note 10 offers users a 6.43-inch screen, the Redmi Note 10 5G improves slightly with a 6.5-inch display.
Furthermore, unlike the standard Redmi Note 10's 60 Hz refresh rate, the 5G variant has been upgraded to 90 Hz. This enhancement notably improves the touchscreen experience, especially when playing high-spec games that demand a higher refresh rate.
However, instead of the AMOLED panel found in the standard Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 5G opts for an IPS LCD panel. While AMOLED panels typically offer better color reproduction than IPS displays, the IPS LCD panel on the Redmi Note 10 5G still provides satisfactory color accuracy for those who prefer true-to-life colors.
Another distinction in the design is the color scheme of the back panel. While the white and gray variants remain unchanged, the green version of the Redmi Note 10 is replaced with a serene ocean blue.
Regarding performance,
When it comes to the performance of the Redmi Note 10 5G, this generation utilizes the Dimensity 700 5G chipset from MediaTek, whereas the regular Redmi Note 10 employs the Snapdragon 678 octa-core chipset.
In terms of operational efficiency, although MediaTek's chipset may not be as highly acclaimed as some other names, the Dimensity 700 5G is still comparable to the Snapdragon 730G, and it's evident that it outperforms the Snapdragon 678 octa-core chipset found in the Redmi Note 10.
Concerning connectivity,
Clearly, just by hearing the name Redmi Note 10 5G, you can recognize that this is a version that supports 5G connectivity, while naturally, the regular Redmi Note 10 or the Redmi Note 10 4G can only connect to 4G networks.
Hence, the advantage of owning the Redmi Note 10 5G lies in its exceptional network speed, allowing for lightning-fast data and video downloads in just a few seconds.
Regarding the camera cluster,
In the Redmi Note 10 smartphone version, users experience a quad-camera setup:
- Main camera: Sony IMX582 with a resolution of 48 MP.
- Ultra-wide-angle camera: 8 MP resolution.
- Depth sensor: 2 MP resolution.
- Macro camera: 2 MP resolution.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 10 5G phone is limited to only three rear cameras:

Despite both having a 5000 mAh battery, unfortunately, the Redmi Note 10 5G is equipped with an 18W charger instead of the 33W charger found in the Redmi Note 10. Consequently, the charging time for the Redmi Note 10 5G will also be longer and may not always meet the urgent needs of users.
Concerning pricing,
Currently, the prices of the Redmi Note 10 5G and the Redmi Note 10 are almost identical:
- The Redmi Note 10 5G has a reference price of 5,990,000 VND for the 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.
- The Redmi Note 10 has a reference price of 4,690,000 VND for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant.
- The Redmi Note 10 has a reference price of 5,490,000 VND for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant.
Therefore, the price will not heavily influence your choice. If you prefer a device with higher performance and 5G connectivity, opt for the Redmi Note 10 5G; however, if you enjoy the experience of an ultra-wide-angle camera, then the Redmi Note 10 is the version to consider.
