MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition Unveiled for a Range of New Devices
During the Mi MIX 4 launch event, Xiaomi also introduced the new MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, boasting numerous upgraded features and unveiling the list of supported devices for upcoming updates.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is an improved version of MIUI 12.5, although the MIUI 12.5 release is yet to be widely rolled out globally by Xiaomi.
Xiaomi announced that MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition will address 160 system bugs and 224 system app issues. The latest version of MIUI also brings comprehensive optimizations from the bottom framework to the top app layer.
According to Xiaomi, this new version is the result of engineers' advancements in optimizing the MIUI system over the past six months.
- Liquid Storage: This is a solution developed to optimize storage mechanisms, ensuring sustained read and write performance over time.
- Atomic Memory: A solution developed to optimize memory management mechanisms, improving the performance of app retention in memory.
- Focus Calculation: A solution developed to optimize CPU scheduling, reducing CPU usage and power consumption.
