Dice sausage, tomatoes, onions, and parsley finely, keeping each separate.

Step 2. Prepare the broth
Heat olive oil in a large pot, add onions and sauté until soft and translucent, about 2 minutes.

Add garlic and sausage, sauté for a few more minutes until fragrant.

Add tomatoes, chili, white wine, and water, then increase heat to bring to a gentle boil. Cook for a few more minutes until the tomatoes are soft.

Step 3. Cook the clams
Add the clams, cover, and simmer over low heat until the clams open, about 10 minutes.

Cut the butter into pieces and add to the pan, toss well, and sprinkle with parsley. Turn off the heat.

FINAL PRODUCT: SPICY TOMATO AND SAUSAGE STEAMED CLAMS

Our dish of steamed clams with spicy tomato and sausage is now complete!
This dish is best enjoyed while still hot. Clams cool down quickly.
If you need to store leftovers, be sure to cover tightly and store in the refrigerator. When reheating, be careful to use a microwave rather than freezing, as freezing will alter the taste and nutrition of the clams.
