Strategize carefully, fellow combatants of Dominion Arena, before constructing the following lineups.
Jhin - Guardian
Ever since its introduction in season 6, Jhin has consistently proven to be a formidable force in Dominion Arena. His ability to deal devastating backline damage easily counters other long-range threats. However, harnessing this power heavily relies on supportive 'elite' champions such as Janna, Orianna, and Taric. These units come at a high cost and demand reaching 2-star level for victory.

Aside from champion levels, attaining Yuumi at level 8 requires considerable luck. This feline has showcased her value and remains a vital component in numerous lineups, leading to frequent contention over her. Additionally, possessing a suitable Idol alongside Jhin to maximize output damage is crucial for achieving high rankings. Hence, the Jhin - Guardian team exhibits significant randomness across multiple aspects.
Challenge Mode
Before patch 11.24, Challenge Mode was a formidable lineup, easily securing top 4 with a 2-star Yone. However, after Yone's adjustments and bug fixes, this piece has considerably weakened, struggling to 'carry the team' as before. This has led Challenge Mode lineups to seek additional damage-dealing champions to share the burden. Clearly, this depends heavily on the equally 'random' factor of the received items.

Furthermore, instead of investing in a single unit as before, Challenge Mode lineups now require numerous 4-gold champions upgraded to 2 stars to claim victory. Alongside the mainstay Yone, Fiora also plays a crucial role, requiring upgrades to swiftly dismantle enemy defenses. A similar situation unfolds with Braum, who serves as the primary source of crowd control for Challenge Mode teams. Indeed, acquiring a sufficiently strong Kai'Sa is necessary for a chance at securing the top spot, a feat that proves exceedingly challenging.
Galio 'smash machine'
Just from the name, one can perceive the 'high roll' nature of this lineup, relying on a 5-gold centerpiece: Galio. Leaving aside issues of contention, simply the fact that it's a 5-cost champion is enough to pose significant difficulties in upgrading this unit to 2 stars. Moreover, to maximize Galio's performance as the mainstay, itemization becomes crucial. Without being able to assemble Infinity Edge, or at the very least possessing a B.F. Sword, deploying this lineup becomes exceptionally challenging.

Furthermore, the randomness of the Idol of Ascension further emphasizes this lineup's reliance on luck. Additionally, another significant factor affecting Galio is the presence of hextech cores. Galio has recently undergone continuous nerfs to his base stats, resulting in a significant decrease in critical damage output. Without items like Giant Slayer or Titanic Hydra to increase resilience, Galio is prone to being easily eliminated, despite being a 5-star unit.
