Players of Dominion of Legends might want to steer clear of these compositions in the current meta.
Mutation - Behemoth
With a series of balance adjustments from Riot Games, Mutation effects have become more balanced, allowing players to effectively utilize this tribe in every match. Perhaps due to this, the usage rate of the Mutation tribe has skyrocketed recently, especially when combined with the Behemoth trait. However, the average placement or top 4 rate of this composition remains quite low, if not notably dismal.

The main reason for the aforementioned poor statistics stems from players still believing that Cho'Gath is a strong champion and attempting to build their composition around this unit. However, in reality, Cho'Gath is perceived very poorly by Challenger players due to its high resource cost and low versatility. Furthermore, playing the Mutation - Behemoth team inadvertently 'nerfs' the Mutation effect 'Dark Star' because at this point, the number of units in the team is quite low. Therefore, the advice is to drop Cho'Gath towards the end of the match if you truly want to consistently place top 4 and climb ranks steadily.
Inventor - Artificer
Among the variations of the Inventor team, this one is considered the weakest version as both offense and defense are challenging to maintain. While having 3 Artificers grants your team significant magic resistance and healing capabilities, in the current meta where physical damage-based team compositions have regained strength, magic resistance stats hold little significance. Consequently, you'll suffer substantial damage if you attempt to utilize Artificer units.

Not stopping there, this version frequently squanders its already limited damage output when players arrange their team suboptimally. If you're unaware, Seraphine (the core of this variation) always casts her abilities targeting the farthest ally. In this scenario, it's typically Ekko, if you misplace this piece and fail to reach the opposing team's core, Seraphine's damage will be entirely wasted.
Aggression - Recycle
Recycle was perhaps one of the strongest tribes in season 6.5 due to its overwhelming versatility and lack of notable weaknesses. The ability to 'reboot equipment' of Recycle makes your champions powerful right from the early game, even if their gear is not yet complete. Towards the end of the match, as players accumulate more items, the shield generated by this tribe becomes larger, and the team becomes more resilient. Therefore, in the recent patch, Riot heavily nerfed the shield-generating ability, significantly weakening Recycle.

As a result, the Aggression - Recycle team composition has significantly decreased its top 4 placement rate as well as its average position. However, this team composition still maintains an incredibly high selection rate, perhaps players have yet to break the habit of building this team composition in the short term. Perhaps in the near future, Dominion of Legends players will soon realize the diminishing strength of this composition and overlook it.
