Method 1: For broken lipsticks
If your beloved lipstick unexpectedly breaks in half, don't rush to toss them away. Instead, follow these simple steps:
- Prepare a lighter
- Gently and carefully heat the broken piece of lipstick over the flame for about 15 seconds
- Attach the broken piece back to the lipstick body, twist it down, and close the lid again
- Place the lipstick in the fridge for about 10 - 15 minutes to reattach the lipstick
- Take the lipstick out of the fridge, wipe off any excess lipstick around the junction
Method 2: For lipsticks almost empty but with plenty at the bottom
For these lipsticks, all you need to do is:
- Take a piece of paper towel and gently lift the lipstick up
- Fold a bit of paper towel and insert it into the empty core
- Use a chopstick or pen to firmly press the paper down to create a base, then insert the lipstick back into its original position
Now the remaining lipstick will protrude up, and you can apply it as usual.
