Dong Do Lake, Sóc Sơn - a refreshing camping spot, perfect for a weekend in Hanoi
My destination is Dong Do Lake. Just remember to look out for the house with paper flowers (on the right, by the lake) to avoid getting lost.
The cost here is 25k per person per day, 50k per person overnight, including cleaning fees, electricity, water usage & restroom facilities.
What I used: Mostly natural long walks, affordable prices, reasonable and tidy camping areas.
Activities: I mainly relaxed and went fishing, but the owner of Lakeside Homestay (about 1-2km away) rents out inner tubes, kayaks, or stand-up paddleboards. There's even a team for rowing, and I had a blast watching them.
