The 'Dragon Carp Transformation' was recently constructed in Da Nang during the April 30th – May 1st period, drawing a large number of visitors for exploration and photography. Situated between the Dragon Bridge and the Han River Bridge on the eastern bank of the Han River (Da Nang), this location promises to become a unique destination in Da Nang.

What makes the 'Dragon Carp Transformation' unique?
The first extraordinary feature of the 'Dragon Carp Transformation' at the Da Nang tourist spot is the massive weight of the sculpture, approximately 200 tons, standing at 7.5 meters. It is carved from 5 blocks of naturally white marble – one of the high-quality gemstones with beautiful patterns. The dragon's head is majestic, spraying water in line with the legend of the dragon carp transforming into a dragon to save lives.
The dragon head is sculpted in the likeness of the first Ly Dynasty dragon, representing a prosperous era in Vietnam's history. The carp's body is intricately carved with robust and lifelike scales. The tail, featuring symmetrical hands, symbolizes unity, cooperation, peace, and prosperity. The pedestal is crafted from split stone slabs, standing at a height of 4.3 meters. It can be said that every part of the dragon carp sculpture is meticulously carved, radiating the determined and steel-like resilience of the carp, triumphing over and leaving behind the tumultuous waves.

The second unique feature is the dragon carp symbol placed at the center of the Da Nang tourist spot, forming a triangular shape with ancient Feng Shui significance. It signifies luck as it is composed of the 8 basic elements of the universe: Can, Khon, Canh, Tan, Ton, Ly, Khon, Doai.
The image of the dragon carp goes beyond aesthetic beauty, becoming an artistic and folkloric symbol derived from the tale of the carp overcoming the Dragon Gate to transform into a dragon—a lesson in personal will and effort. This holds profound meaning in educating and promoting the idea that the people of Quang must always strive for the best.

The statue can be seen as a symbol of progress, luck, and success in every journey. This image is chosen as the icon for the boat dock, not only embellishing the dock's scenery but also affirming the value of the Han River area in particular and the beauty of Da Nang in general.
The captivating 'Dragon Carp Transformation' adds a touch of novelty to the tourist landscape in Da Nang

Previously, tourists explored well-known Da Nang tourist destinations such as Ba Na Hills, Marble Mountains, and Dragon Bridge. Now, there's a new and unique attraction—'Dragon Carp Transformation'—to increase the annual number of visitors.

During the day, the statue appears dignified, standing tall as it sprays water into the Han River. At night, it becomes even more enchanting, adorned with vibrant colors shifting from red to purple, then green, and finally to radiant pink. This creates a new symbol for a dynamic, colorful destination in Da Nang.
Adjacent to the newly constructed love bridge near the dragon carp statue at Da Nang tourist spot, it seems to convey a message to all young people: live with love for others and yourself, spread love to all couples—past, present, and future. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining determination and resilience in life, regardless of the challenges and hardships one may face.

Time may casually glide over the scenery here, but it cannot dim the human spirit, nor can it make one falter amidst the storms of life.
