Exploring the Beauty of Dragon Jaw Mountain
Today, Dragon Jaw Mountain has been transformed into a captivating ecological tourist area in the Sa Pa region, comprising three main zones: Ham Rong Flower Garden, Thach Lam Rock Garden, and finally, the peak of Ham Rong, where visitors can gaze upon the panoramic view of Sa Pa from above.
Ham Rong Flower Garden serves as a stopover on the journey for tourists ascending to the peak of Ham Rong. Designed to harmonize with the natural topography of the mountain, reaching the garden requires traversing a long path with hundreds of stone steps. At intervals, the scenery unfolds before visitors like a miniature plateau adorned with countless flowers. Each season brings its own unique and vibrant colors, offering tourists novel and diverse experiences.

Thach Lam Rock Garden, a unique garden with peculiar rock formations arranged by nature, seemingly with purpose, has sparked the imagination of ancient people, envisioning countless claws and scales of the 'dragoness.' Walking amidst the upright stone forest, visitors will sense an enigmatic and somber atmosphere, akin to being lost in an intricate maze.

After a challenging 1 km journey, overcoming obstacles along the way, visitors will finally set foot on the summit of Ham Rong, also known as Cloud Yard, arranged like an observation deck. Here, visitors can feast their eyes on the beautiful Sa Pa town and drifting clouds. This is considered the finest vantage point to admire Sa Pa, as at this altitude, visitors can feel the merging of earth and sky, leisurely strolling above the clouds. Standing atop the dizzyingly high observation deck at over 1800m, breathing in the fresh, cool air, and beholding the panoramic view of Sa Pa, nothing could be more exhilarating.

If one has the opportunity to visit Sa Pa, they will undoubtedly regret not setting foot on Ham Rong Mountain. Standing on the rocky promontory, hearing once again the tale of the mountain's legend, one will feel as if they have entered a world of profound love, deep gratitude, and unwavering loyalty. Ham Rong Mountain is nature's masterpiece, composed of the finest elements – grass and trees, wild winds, and the sky's canvas – leaving visitors longing to stay while causing those departing to hesitate to leave.
