Visiting Hue in early November, with its cool and pleasant weather, little rain, and occasional showers at night, provides favorable conditions for exploring Hue throughout the day. The four destinations that evoke strong emotions and are mentioned in the article are Minh Mang Tomb, Bach Tra Vien (part of An Dinh Palace), An Hien Garden House, and Phu Cam Cathedral. Although these places are not new, I hope everyone can immerse themselves in the emotions, historical significance, quality of images, and typography art that they offer.
Hue: A dreamy haven for dreamers
Hue is a solemn land that brings about various emotions for visitors, especially for those who live for emotions, dreams, or at least temporarily set aside their rationality to immerse themselves in Hue's dreamy ambiance, letting Hue's romanticism permeate through every sense.
Hue also nurtures gentle and warm-hearted individuals. For instance, Dao Anh, his 16-year-old lover in Hue, received over 300 love letters and many songs composed by Trinh Cong Son, including 'Sunshine on Glass', 'What Age is Right for You', 'Pink Rain', etc.
Visiting Hue means immersing yourself in a region and people that are very poetic, dreamy, and idealistic.

Sahi Retreat Homestay

Sahi Homestay Garden
Sahi Homestay Retreat offers two types of bedrooms: the double room with a private garden inside and the studio room with a small private garden and a surrounded lotus pond. Both room types feature outdoor bathrooms attached to their private gardens. I stayed in the double room.
The welcoming space combined with a coffee corner makes it very convenient for check-ins. If possible, spending a morning reading a book and enjoying tea here is also very relaxing. The garden with a swimming pool is also a well-deserved amenity. I haven't found any areas that need improvement at Sahi yet.

Dreamy Coffee Experience – 3 Must-Visit Cafes in Hue
1. Touch Concept
Address: 137 Le Ngo Cat, Thuy Xuan, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue, VietnamPrice: 25,000 VND – 55,000 VNDParking: in front of the café.Located near a crossroads, Touch Concept takes me to a spacious environment. Before entering the café, I pass by a sunny garden full of greenery, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

Touch Concept Café
The café is housed in a renovated ancient villa, creating a nostalgic and moss-covered atmosphere. Combined with classic interior decorations and vintage scientific paintings, the space becomes even more distinctive. Particularly, the modern barista counter with glass ventilation tiles is an eye-catching feature. I was impressed by the salt coffee and croissant, a light meal that brought refreshment for exploring Hue.

Giao Café

Side view of Giao Café
Despite being close to the city center of Hue by Gia Hoi Bridge, the atmosphere here is quieter than the tranquility in the center of Hue. The café has indoor and outdoor seating areas. Although not too small nor too spacious, every detail is invested with a touch of Hue. I was impressed by the coffee bar with clay-made super traditional coffee filters, providing a truly authentic coffee experience.

Tân Cafe
Address: 86 Dinh Tien Hoang, Phu Hau, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue, VietnamPrice: 20,000 VND – 55,000 VNDParking: in front of the café.Tân Cafe has 3 branches in Hue, but I chose to visit the one at 86 Dinh Tien Hoang branch to experience an industrial-style coffee shop amidst Hue while still retaining its solemn and Hue-like atmosphere.

Tân Coffee
The café is spacious, allowing you to freely choose your seating area, including indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as a smoking room with many plants. The drink menu is diverse, featuring coffee with various fruit flavors, combined with rich creamy ice cream. The accompanying cakes are also diverse, creating a perfect coffee menu for coffee addicts.

Hue Fossil Museum
When speaking of a place, a location, a certain representative, it can be said that the place that stores everything is a museum. It is where historical values are preserved, and also where those values are shared with all of us. As someone who enjoys learning, it can be said that visiting the Hue Fossil Museum is one of the activities I had to plan to admire before coming to Hue.

Main Hall of the Hue Fossil Museum
The museum is located opposite Tân Café, so that evening after having a refreshing coffee, I found it very convenient. According to information I found online, the Hanoi Fossil Museum, in collaboration with the Hue Imperial Citadel Preservation Center, is organizing the exhibition 'Fossils - Journey to Explore the Origins of Life on Earth' from June 25 to October 31, 2022, at 76 Han Thuyen - Hue City. However, when I visited the exhibition on November 2, 2022, the staff said the exhibition would be extended. The entrance fee for one person is 70,000 VND.

Fossil exhibits at the Fossil Museum
The special collaboration between the Hanoi Fossil Museum and the Hue Imperial Citadel Preservation Center, for the first time, the ancient land will be recreated within the framework of the 2022 Hue Festival. Over 14,000 specimens; 2,500 tons of fossil wood from around the world collected by the Hanoi Fossil Museum over 2 years and evaluated by scientists as the invaluable treasure of the national paleontology field.
Here, visitors will be immersed in the space of the Earth's self-contained history filled with the breath of history about the origin of life on Earth, the birth, prehistoric and extinction of many types of creatures preserved in each layer of immovable rock before them.

I checked in at the Fossil Museum
Additionally, there is a film screening room on various historical topics, but since I arrived a bit late and the room was dark, I just walked in and out without staying to watch. You can visit early to experience the film screening space.
Lebadang Memory Space
If the Fossil Museum brings the value of humanity, then Lebadang Memory Space brings humanistic values. It speaks of the talented artist Lebadang.

Lebadang Memorial Space
Lebadang, born on June 27, 1921, in Bich La Dong village, Quang Tri (a province adjacent to Hue), was known as Lebadang. He studied at the School of Fine Arts (Ecole des Beaux-Arts) in Toulouse, France. He held numerous exhibitions worldwide, notably in France - where he spent most of his life. In 2006, the artist, along with the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, established the Lebadang Art Center at 15 Le Loi Street, Hue City.
Lebadang passed away on March 7, 2015, in Paris at the age of 94. His funeral took place at the city's cemetery, Pere Lachaise. Some memorial services were held in Vietnam, in Bich La Dong village and at the Lebadang Art Center in Hue. On April 21, 2019, the dream of the artist Lebadang came true with the establishment of the Lebadang Memorial Space.
The project was designed by architect Ho Viet Vinh with exquisite, elegant landscapes harmonizing with nature, featuring the exhibition space for the artworks of artist Lebadang. This project was initiated by Mrs. Le Cam Te, former Director of the Lebadang Art Center (where Lebadang's art pieces donated to Hue are displayed) and friends in the 'Lebadang Creative Fund'. After considering many design options, Mrs. Myshu decided to choose a paper-cut artwork by Lebadang as the architectural motif for the main building, insisting on adhering to the original design.
Architectural landscape space of the museum, covering over 16,000m2, is truly a masterpiece called the 'Lebadang Space' in reality. There are 2 main exhibition spaces: inside the main building and the underground display space, which is 50m long.

Model map of the Lebadang Memorial Space
It must be said that the artworks are evidence of the sensitivity of artists like Lebadang, who once said, 'The true wealth of an artist comes from diversity in creativity.' The paintings, sculptures, 'Space,' and installation art of the world-renowned artist Lebadang are constantly innovated in content and presentation style according to international standards. He drew inspiration from various themes and meticulously displayed each theme within the exhibition space. I regret that no photos were allowed inside the memorial space, so all the pictures are of the gardens and exterior. However, I believe this restriction allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in experiencing the artworks of the late artist.

Beautiful architecture of the Lebadang Memorial Space

Underground exhibition space of the Lebadang Memorial Space
And it's precisely because photography wasn't allowed that I can recall two poems from his collection of short poems about love, which are:
“Before love
How would you know
Received those
Ways of love”
and
“Already in love
Just learned to live
To love
To linger”
It must be said that Le Badang is someone with a heart to love everything. He loves art through the works he left behind, he loves materials through the diverse structures and themes of his works, he loves the artist's work through the number of works he left behind, he loves his family through the reciprocation of his wife Myshu who helped him fulfill his lifelong dream. Indeed, Le Badang is an inspiration to artists and everyone in general, a pride of the country.

My favorite piece at Lebadang Memory Space
Conclusion
It can be said that the above places are extremely romantic, offering a different perspective of Hue, combining its unique characteristics with contemporary elements. These places depict a very different, enticing Hue, perfect for exploration and fulfilling the dreams of travelers seeking enchantment.
