Dropbox to Integrate Google Cloud Soon

Dropbox is set to integrate Google Cloud soon. Today, Google announced in a blog post that some tools such as Gmail, Hangouts Chat, and Google Docs will soon be integrated into Dropbox.

After the changes are implemented, users can create, edit, and save Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides documents directly on Dropbox, and Admins can manage these files similar to Dropbox files.

Dropbox links in Gmail will display after they have been created, edited, and last edited. In Hangouts Chat, linked files will display previews right within the chat. Currently, there is no information available about when the changes will take effect, the only timeframe disclosed to users is 'soon'.
