In the Finals match of the World Championship 2022, T1 faced off against DRX. Despite a long journey from the Play-Ins stage, DRX performed exceptionally well. Hence, the battle for the championship title against T1 was certainly no walk in the park.

- Last year, they were even at the bottom of the table with a very poor record. This year, just one game away, they're absent from Worlds. Not even Cinderella could have a story like this. I'm sad Faker lost, but Deft deserves it as he's waited 10 years for this championship. Alright, time for the Worlds Kindred skin.

This marks Deft's first World Championship title in his career. With this title, Deft has completed the collection of titles that an LoL player can have. Especially, he succeeded even after transitioning to LPL.
Additionally, there's regret for T1, especially Faker. Thus, once again, the World Championship title has eluded the legend of the LoL community. But many also point out that not banning Azir and Aatrox contributed to T1's downfall.
- Why didn't they ban Azir and Aatrox after being decimated earlier. Truly can't understand.
- Sad that Faker lost but happy that Deft won. But honestly, I had hoped Faker would clinch this title before retiring.
- Faker didn't have much impact in this entire match.
- Faker tried, but compared to the whole team, he truly seemed invisible.
So, another Worlds has concluded and DRX has impressively taken the crown. This victory perhaps also serves as a perfect ending to Deft's rollercoaster career. As for Faker and T1, they'll have to strive harder next year, but they can hold their heads high knowing they lost to an outstanding opponent.
