DTCL: Annihilating the Arena with Katarina Fury Squad

In the current meta where everyone rushes to level 9, Katarina reroll possesses immense power from the mid-game onwards, helping you swiftly push through the lobby and secure a spot in the top. With the Fury inner force, each time Katarina uses her skill, she one-shots a target.
This lineup revolves around Superstar Katarina (activating Fury +2). At level 6 Fury, you gain up to 70% damage, a tremendous number enough to one-shot everything. Not to mention, Fury champions jump in and stun enemies after being knocked out, causing the opponent's carry to lose damage and helping Katarina accumulate her inner force. Thus, in a 1vs1 scenario, no champion in this meta can defeat Katarina.
Katarina's items must include Guardian Angel, followed by an Infinity Edge. Pairing it with another Infinity Edge from Fan Favorite will maximize critical damage while providing lifesteal for Katarina, as she often finds herself in 1vs9 situations.
This composition almost doesn't require defensive items. After gearing up Katarina, you'll focus on the second carry, usually Zed. The best item for it (and Fury champions in general) is Shadow Hextech Gunblade, which boosts survivability and evenly distributes damage, excellent for stalling. As for late-game excess items, they can be given to tankers.

Strengths of Katarina
This lineup revolves around Katarina Superstar (Fury +2), at Fury level 4, you need a winning streak here to accumulate gold and reach level 8 to slot in the final 6 Fury formation. This differs from the Samira - Urgot lineup where we have only one carry; failing to roll quickly before opponents hit level 8 or 3-star champions makes it challenging to have enough health for late-game.
During the shopping phase, if you see Qiyana, prioritize her regardless of her items because she's the most crucial piece to activate the 6 Fury at level 8. Leveling to 8 is solely to slot in Qiyana and reach the 6 Fury threshold. From there, you can either focus on upgrading the secondary carry (usually Zed) and roll out at level 8 or continue saving to reach level 9.
Depending on how early you find Katarina and maintain gold in the mid-game or how many players are left in the lobby, make a suitable decision. This strategy is essentially about bleeding opponents, so you can capitalize on them still saving up to level 9 to find Zed 2-star to secure a top position. Another strategy is to roll for Zed 3-star, as he's a champion that nobody cares about, almost immune to being contested. Overall, Katarina starts to weaken in the late game but still easily secures a top position if you bleed well in the mid-game.
Katarina Fury is a solid lineup, relatively easy to play, and secures a top position effortlessly if executed correctly.
