Not only cherry blossoms, but plum blossoms also begin to show off their beauty, making Moc Chau one of the most popular destinations for young people's Tet holiday trips.

During the days leading up to Tet, in addition to the white plum blossoms, the plum valley in Moc Chau (Son La) begins to show off its beauty with the first blossoms. The old plum trees in bloom bring a unique beauty to the land of Moc Chau just in time for Tet and the coming of spring.

Varieties of ban flowers, mustard greens, and wild sunflowers in Moc Chau don't grow sparsely but often bloom abundantly across hillsides or valleys, similar to plums. Thousands of trees grow in rows, close together, all bursting with white color. The entire valley adorns itself with a pure coat under the azure sky.

Plum blossoms bloom in thick clusters, delicate petals embracing golden stamens. With a strong gust of wind, it's easy to carry away these fragile petals into the air. Thus, plum blossoms are likened to a young girl in her prime, gentle yet elusive.

Normally, plum blossoms bloom around the end of January to early February in the Gregorian calendar and last for 2-3 weeks. With high temperatures, plum blossoms will bloom early, whereas in cold weather, they will bloom later.

This year, plum blossoms bloomed early in the Mu Nau valley. The blooming period is not long, so if visitors want to admire the beauty of this flower here, they need to plan a trip to Moc Chau in the coming days.

According to reader Maria Tuyen, if tourists want to check-in with Moc Chau plum blossoms during Lunar New Year, they can visit the Na Ka valley, a famous plum blossom paradise covering over 100 hectares. Currently, plums in Na Ka are just starting to bloom sparsely, but as Tet approaches, it is predicted that the flowers will burst into full bloom.

Arriving in Moc Chau on a sunny day, tourists can truly appreciate the beauty of the plum trees glowing brightly in the sunlight. Not only can they enjoy the delicate and pure beauty of the white plum blossoms competing to bloom on the slender branches, but they can also be moved by the sight of the lush white plum hills across a vast mountainous landscape.

Plums are the seasonal attraction that draws visitors to Moc Chau twice a year. In spring, the blossoms paint the sky white, captivating hearts, while in summer, the trees laden with fruit offer a rustic and delightful experience, attracting tourists to this Northwestern land abundant with the unique fragrance of these flowers.
