Sometimes, you might need to diversify the size of your Canva designs to fit various needs. Below is a lightning-fast way to resize Canva designs on your computer that anyone can do. Let's explore.
Changing Canva Design Size
To adjust the Canva design size on your computer, follow the steps below.
Step 1: First, access your Canva design interface here.
Step 2: Once inside the design interface, focus on the top left section. Click on the Resize button.
Step 3: Immediately, a new dialog box will appear next to the Resize button. In the Custom Size section, you can adjust the size of your design.
Step 4: If you want to double the size of your design, simply multiply the original width and height by 2. Currently, the size is 1280x975. We'll multiply it by 2, resulting in a new size of 2560x1950.
Step 5: After entering the dimensions of the new design, you can click on either of the two buttons: Copy & Resize, Resize.
Note: The basic difference between these two buttons!
- Copy & Resize: Canva will automatically generate a copy with the new size. The original design will remain unchanged.
- Resize: Canva will directly adjust the size on your design.
Here's a tip for you: it's advisable to choose the Copy & Resize button so that if the new size isn't compatible, you still have the original version intact without any issues.
