Step 3: Pouring the Cake Mold
You can use various molds if available (large molds or small round molds like flan molds). Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to prevent sticking. Place the mold in a steamer and steam for 7 - 10 minutes to heat it up.
Pour the pandan layer first, steam for 2 - 3 minutes. Then pour the mung bean layer and steam for 2 - 3 minutes. Repeat the steps to add 9 - 11 more layers of cake.

After pouring the final layer of cake, steam for an additional 10 minutes. When the cake is cooked, you can insert a toothpick to check (if the toothpick comes out dry, it's okay).
Step 4: Cutting the Cake
Let the cake cool at room temperature. Use a sharp knife to cut around the edges of the mold to remove the cake.

The cake can be stored in the refrigerator. Before serving, let it sit at room temperature until the cake is no longer cold, or microwave it for about 20 - 30 seconds to warm and soften the cake.

4. Some Tips for Making Pig Skin Cake
- The flour mixture needs to have a certain consistency. If the batter is too thin, add tapioca flour; otherwise, the cake will be flabby. If the batter is too thick, add water; otherwise, the cake will be hard.
- To pour the cake layers evenly, weigh the amount of batter each time you pour, or use 2 identical spoons to scoop the batter, ensuring the same amount each time.
- The cake must cool completely before removing it from the mold.
- When cutting, press the knife decisively, without moving it back and forth.
