This easy recipe for kids is a breeze with just a few simple ingredients — the trick lies in using the right pan (non-stick or cast iron) and cooking the eggs at the right temperature.

This egg recipe is straightforward, allowing you to get creative by adding any meat and vegetables your child enjoys to customize their scrambled eggs.
If your child wants to get involved, let them crack and beat the eggs with water (or you can substitute water with a tablespoon of milk for a creamier texture), salt, and pepper. While they beat the eggs, you can heat the pan. Encouraging kids to cook alongside you and try new things is the best way for them to learn valuable skills.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes Serving Size: 1 portion
INGREDIENTS FOR KID-FRIENDLY SCRAMBLED EGGS
• Butter or vegetable oil
• 3 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon water
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• Cooked meat and vegetables of choice (such as sliced sausage, bacon, onion, bell pepper, carrot, etc.)
• 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

STEPS TO MAKE KID-FRIENDLY SCRAMBLED EGGS
Beat eggs, water, salt, and pepper until fluffy and frothy.

Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of butter to the skillet.

Once the skillet is hot (but not smoking), pour the egg mixture in.

As the scrambled eggs begin to set, lift one edge with a spatula and tilt the skillet to let the unset eggs flow underneath.

Add vegetables and meat to one half of the eggs.

As the scrambled eggs are nearly done, sprinkle shredded cheese over the vegetable and meat side.

After that, fold the remaining half of the boiled egg onto itself.

Place the egg on a plate and enjoy it with tomato sauce or chili sauce.
