When browsing Pinterest, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the vast amount of content and ideas shared there. If you come across interesting videos and don't want to lose them later, saving videos on Pinterest to your phone or computer is a breeze.
1. Adding videos to your Pinterest collection
Before diving into downloading videos from Pinterest to your phone or computer, it's worth noting that Pinterest's Save feature is also very handy. You can create collections based on your own themes, then simply click Save on each post to add it to the collection you desire.
This method ensures you won't lose the posts you want to revisit, while also organizing the content logically.
1.1 On your computer
With Pinterest on your computer, simply locate the post you love, and click Save at the top right corner of it.
If you wish to save a post to a different collection, click the arrow at the top left corner.
Hover over the collection you want to >> Save.
1.2 On your phone
Open the Pinterest app on your phone, tap on the Pinterest post that catches your eye. Tap Save.
Choose a board (collection) you've previously created to save the post. Or tap Create new board.
If you're creating a new board, give it a title, select privacy settings, and finally click Create.
2. Download Pinterest videos to your device
While Pinterest doesn't officially support downloading videos to your device, there are still ways to easily do so on both computer and phone.
2.1 On your computer
On your computer, you can download Pinterest videos using Pinterestdownloader.com tool. This is an online utility so you don't need to download anything to use it.
Step 1: Find the video you want to download on Pinterest, click on the 'Share' icon (arrow symbol).
Step 2: Choose Copy link.
Step 3: Go to the website Pinterestdownloader.com using your preferred web browser.
Click on the Paste Your Links Here box, then press the Ctrl + V (Paste) keyboard shortcut.
Step 4: Proceed to click Download.
Step 5: Press Download VIDEO to download the desired video.
2.2 On your phone
On both iPhone and Android phones, you can always follow a similar method as on the computer to download Pinterest videos.
However, for Android's Play Store, there's an app that allows you to quickly download videos from Pinterest to your device. But this app hasn't appeared on the AppStore yet. So if you're using an iPhone, just follow the method as on the computer!
Step 1: On your Android phone, open the Play Store and download the app Video Downloader for Pinterest.
Step 2: Open the Pinterest app, then tap on the video you want to download.
Step 3: Tap on the Share >> Copy link button.
Step 4: Now open the Video Downloader for Pinterest app you just downloaded. On the main interface, double-tap on the Paste your video URL here box >> Paste.
Tap Download.
Step 5: If the app requests access to Photos, select Allow.
Step 6: Wait a few seconds for the app to process, when finished, press Download VIDEO. The video will be automatically downloaded and added to your photo library.
