1. Trim a Video Clip
Step 1: After downloading to your computer, launch the Avidemux program. Click File and choose Open to load the video you want to trim.
Step 2: Click the Play button to play the video. Identify the segment to trim and press the Pause button to stop. Then click the button labeled A to mark the beginning of the trim.
Step 3: After determining the starting segment, click the Play button to continue. Identify the end of the video to trim and press the Pause button to stop. Then click the button labeled B to specify the end of the trim.
