With just over 10 days remaining until January 15, 2020, the release date of Microsoft's new Chromium-based Edge web browser, the company is preparing for this launch. It is currently updating the beta version of Edge on Android, allowing users to synchronize with the new web browser or the Edge Legacy built on EdgeHTML. This option is already available, but it specifically references the Edge Insider channels for the new version and the simple successor version, Microsoft Edge.
Edge Beta for Android now allows users to sync with either Edge Chromium or Edge Legacy.

It's worth noting that the new Microsoft Edge will not sync with Edge Legacy, which is unsurprising. Currently, users will need to sign in to their Microsoft account to synchronize favorites, passwords, and other data from Edge Legacy or another web browser on their computer.
Furthermore, the Android web browser also features a new Control Center, introduced for the first time in October. Tapping the 3-dot icon in the new navigation bar will open a menu with various options.
Edge Chromium will soon be released on Windows and will support Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10, along with macOS. This means many users will be able to synchronize the Edge browser on mobile devices with their computers for the first time.
