Unfortunately, the feature to view created annotations in books on Edge for Android doesn't support annotations made in the standard PDF format. Refer to how to annotate in Edge here (performed on PC).
Additionally, the update includes new shortcuts in the Settings menu, containing information on new features and enhancements in the latest browser version. And, of course, the performance improvements should not be overlooked.

- Quickly access the What's new and tips page from the Settings menu and other menus.
- View annotations you've created within books (note: not applicable to standard PDF format).
- Performance improvements.
The feature was tested in the Edge beta version for Android in August and is now more widely deployed in stable versions of the application. The update was rolled out shortly after a similar feature was introduced in the Edge browser for iPhone and iPad.
