Editing Posts in WordPress
Follow the steps below to edit posts in WordPress:
Step 1: On the WordPress interface, click on Posts => All Posts.
Step 2: On the next screen, you will see the posts you've created, in this example, it's Post1. When you hover over the post, a set of options will appear below the post title. These options are named Edit and Quick Edit.
- Edit Option: Clicking the Edit option to modify a post will display a window on the screen as shown below:
On this window, you can edit the content or title of the post as desired, then click the Update button to save the changes.
- Quick Edit Option: Clicking the Quick Edit option to modify a post will display a window on the screen as shown below:
On this window, you can edit the name, slug, and publication date of the post, or you can choose categories for the post as illustrated below. After making the changes, click the Update button to save the updates.
