The new ADC for EDward Gaming pledges to assist the team in regaining their former glory.
During the pre-season transfer phase leading up to the 2023 season, EDward Gaming is arguably the most mentioned name. Their exceptional players such as Scout, Viper, and Meiko all have a high likelihood of departing. With their proven caliber, these mentioned players are being actively pursued by numerous teams.

However, only Viper has truly departed, as he officially joined Hanwha Life Esports a few days ago. As for Scout and Meiko, they will remain committed to EDG in the upcoming 2023 season.
For the Top Lane position, Doinb recently disclosed that Ale will step in for Flandre. This is seen as a necessary addition from EDG, given Flandre's noticeable decline in performance. Meanwhile, Ale belongs to the group of players capable of playing multiple meta-compatible champions at the present time.

In the ADC position, Gala (formerly of RNG) will take over from Viper. This information was also subtly hinted at by Doinb: 'Kai'Sa (Gala) will play alongside Yuumi (Meiko) at EDG'. This change is fully justified as Gala has clinched 2 MSI championships during his tenure with RNG.

With their new lineup consisting of: Ale - Jiejie - Scout - Gala - Meiko, EDward Gaming promises to be a formidable force in the LPL. We hope they will achieve peak performance and win numerous titles in the upcoming 2023 season.
