Step 1: Prepare a 2-meter-long electrical wire.
Step 2: Ground the Washing Machine
- - Unscrew one of the screws at the back of the washing machine using a screwdriver (make sure to choose a screw located on a metal surface for effective grounding).
- Separate the two ends of the wire, with each end about 5 - 10cm long.
- Twist one end of the wire with the screw and the other end with the grounding rod. Then tighten the screw removed earlier.
Note: If you don't have a grounding rod, you can tie the remaining end of the electrical wire to the water tap.
