However, the Automatic Time Update feature will automatically connect to the server to update the time, which can decrease your battery life due to background internet connections. To disable this feature, go to Settings => Date & Time => Automatic Time Update => Off.
6. Use Dark Wallpapers
For certain phone models using AMOLED or OLED displays, setting a black wallpaper will save battery more effectively because the black areas do not require the backlight to illuminate at those locations.
