Install an air purifier in the bedroom for cleaner air.
Mattresses are typically placed in the bedroom, which is often closed when not in use. However, even when the room is sealed, dust still accumulates. Fine dust particles are incredibly small and can easily enter the house, slipping through door gaps. Even with the room tightly closed, dust can still infiltrate once the door is opened. Therefore, one should not assume that a closed room is free of dust, or that the mattress will remain clean.
Having an air purifier in the bedroom significantly reduces the amount of dust accumulated on the bed over time. Simply ensure to select a purifier suitable for the room size, running it quietly to avoid disrupting your sleep.
Some important notes when washing blankets, sheets, and pillows with a washing machine at home:
- Choose the appropriate washing mode to avoid the laundry cycle ending with the blankets and pillows still retaining too much water. Therefore, when putting blankets into the washing machine/dryer, always remember to select the correct washing and drying mode. This helps you save time rewashing if the blankets become damp, moldy, or smelly, reducing the waiting time for drying.- Additionally, if you have a dryer at home, it would be beneficial. Drying blankets and sheets using a dryer reduces fabric lint compared to air-drying outdoors. Moreover, drying at high temperatures also helps kill bacteria. If your area is too cold, and your bed remains cold due to trapped cold air all day, you may use this method: put the bedding set into the dryer for a while, and once taken out, everything will be dry, warm, and comfortable for immediate use.

The steps above are incredibly easy to follow. Wishing you consistency and always a clean mattress.
