However, this article reveals a method to boost your typing pace without relying on software training. Discover the art of using AutoCorrect shortcuts in Word and Excel.

Illustrating the process with Word shortcut creation:
Step 1: Navigate to the File -> Option:

Step 2: When Word Options window appears, select Proofing -> AutoCorrect Options…

Step 3: In the AutoCorrect window, choose the AutoCorrect tab and input the content as follows:
- Under Replace: enter the abbreviation.
- Under With: enter the content to be displayed as a replacement for the abbreviation.
Afterward, press Add to include the abbreviation in AutoCorrect:

Step 4: Return to the document, type the abbreviation ttpm, press the space key, and the phrase Software Tips will appear:

In case you want to use shortcuts for special characters, perform a similar operation. Here, use the abbreviation tt to replace the emoticon symbol:

Additionally, you can utilize shorthand expressions to replace mathematical characters by selecting the Math AutoCorrect tab.

If you wish to use abbreviations to substitute for special characters not found in AutoCorrect, for example, adding characters within Word's special characters, perform the character insertion as usual:

Next, highlight the character -> right-click and choose Copy:

Perform the redo operation in AutoCorrect, select Math AutoCorrect -> the character you want to find the abbreviation for will be displayed in the With section. Simply type the abbreviation for that character and perform Add to create the abbreviation as usual:

Return to the document file; when you type the abbreviation, the result of the special character will be displayed:

This way, you can create abbreviations for long and frequently used content. However, when you want to type the abbreviation itself as the displayed content without replacement, delete the AutoCorrect created abbreviation by selecting the abbreviation -> click Delete:
